May is Military Appreciation Month—a time to recognize, reflect, and say thank you to the men and women who serve and have served in our Armed Forces.
At the Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center, honoring veterans isn’t limited to one month a year—but in May, we take extra care to celebrate the courage, sacrifice, and service of our military community. From WWII heroes like Major Richard Bong to today’s service members and their families, we are deeply grateful for all who have worn the uniform.

To show our appreciation, we’re offering 25% off in our museum store and 15% off memberships to the museum, throughout the month of May for active-duty military, veterans, and their families, with ID.
