An Infantryman’s Development of Tactics and Weapons through History

May’s SPEAKER SERIES presentation by Bryan Kastelic will provide a look at the parallel development of anti-tank tactics and weapons as armor developed through history. This presentation combines PowerPoint and hands-on examples of anti-tank hand grenades, landmines, weapons (i.e., AT rifles, projectile weapons, and remote piloted vehicles), and tactics since World War 1 to present conflicts.

About our speaker:

Bryan Kastelic served in the US Army (Infantry) from 1987 to 1997 (Active Duty & WI National Guard). Bryan was a Deputy with the Brown County Sheriff’s Department from 1996 to 2006 (Patrol, Narcotics Investigator, Emergency Response Unit) and a Special Agent with the WI Department of Justice, Division of Criminal Investigations from 2006-2023 (Narcotics Milwaukee Field Office, Unified Tactical Trainer, WI Joint Tactical Team member then commander, Commander of the Native American Drug & Gang Initiative (NADGI) Task Force. Bryan attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh from 1991 to 1996. Bryan is the owner & operator of the Wild Geese PBI (Poor Bloody Infantry) museum focused on conflicts in World War 1 &2, Africa, Vietnam, and the Irish Troubles.
